Bodega Piedra Negra

Los Chacayes pioneers, GI, organic

The Lurton family, a prestigious Bordeaux name, brought its passion for wine to Argentina in the 1990s. François Lurton discovered a 200-hectare treasure at the foot of the Andes and founded Bodega Piedra Negra, a pioneer in the Los Chacayes region (Uco Valley). This exceptional landscape became a unique terroir, now recognised as a Geographical Indication (GI). With a focus on organic viticulture, François makes wines that capture the freshness, elegance and minerality of the Andean soil. Every glass is a journey through nature and the Lurton family’s unwavering commitment – a legacy that shines in every bottle and takes the spirit and excellence of Los Chacayes to the world.
