Luján de Cuyo
Casa Cayé
Identity – Accommodation – Food
Casa Cayé is a boutique offering in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, conceived as a true house of experiences: an intimate space where luxury means personal attention, silence and a connection with food and olive oil. The heart of the project is not wine but extra virgin olive oil, with a strong family stamp. It is run by Tatiana Nessier (olive oil and wine sommelier, and a cook) with her mother Azucena; they live on the property, which guarantees close, personal attention. They make their own premium oils under the Finca Cayé name, and much of the experience is about learning to taste and recognise good olive oil. More than a hotel, it works as a luxury guesthouse focused on privacy and rest: only about 4 rooms, spacious, with private bathrooms and garden views, plus an outdoor pool and leafy gardens designed for reading and relaxing. Food is a private experience, ideally booked in advance or for guests: a slow-cooked asado over the flames in the garden, where guests can watch the whole traditional Mendoza process; guided olive oil tastings to identify quality, virtues and flaws; blending games; hands-on cooking classes with local recipes; and fully homemade breakfasts with their own bread, jams and fresh seasonal produce. Ideal for those seeking an intimate experience away from mass tourism, olive oil lovers who want to go beyond wine, couples and travellers who value silence, safety and switching off, and anyone who prefers human warmth to traditional hotels. A hidden oasis in Vistalba where luxury is not about show but about human warmth, the silence of the garden and the quality of home cooking centred on olive oil.
