Gualtallary pioneer, Synthesis, 25 years

Founded in 1998 by Roberto Luka (former CEO of Flichman) with Gustavo Benvenuto. The name Sophenia joins those of his daughters, Sofía and Eugenia. Gualtallary pioneers – the first to plant a vineyard (130 hectares) in this micro-region, which international experts now rank among the best wine areas in the world. An estate winery: the whole process starts and ends in the same place (own grapes, winemaking and bottling on the estate). At 1,200 m above sea level, right at the foot of the Andean foothills. Flagship wine: SOPHENIA Synthesis The Blend (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot). Limited edition SOPHENIA 25 YEARS (2023) for its anniversary. Current winemaker: Joaquín Martín.
