Guillermo García Lamadrid, Las Compuertas

In 2008 Guillermo García Lamadrid, of Caribbean origin, bought an old winery founded in 1959 in the Las Compuertas district of Luján de Cuyo. A major transformation followed: investment in technology and capacity and the refurbishment of the facilities, reaching a total capacity of 2,200,000 litres. In 2014 they opened to visitors with wine-tourism experiences and sales in their Wine Shop. In 2022 they opened their restaurant, Los Bocheros, with a wide range of dishes paired with a selection of all their wines. A magical garden in Las Compuertas.
