Luján de Cuyo or Uco Valley: which to choose
By DaniFounder and CEO of Welocal· 2 min read
Short answer
If you are short on time, choose Luján de Cuyo: it is closer to the city and has the widest range of options. If you can spare a full day, add the Uco Valley for the scenery at the foot of the Andes and its long lunches. With three days or more, do both.
How do Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley differ?
Luján de Cuyo has the largest offer in the catalogue: 108 experiences, including tastings, lunches, blending games and outdoor activities. Being closer to the city, it lets you fit two or three plans into one day.
The Uco Valley has 48 experiences and is further away. In return, the wineries sit among vineyards with the mountains very close, and many have their own restaurant.
Which is better if I only have one day?
With a single day, Luján de Cuyo gives you more: less travel time and more variety to choose from.
If what matters most is the landscape and an unhurried lunch, the Uco Valley is worth the trip. In that case, plan a single winery in the morning and then lunch.
What about Maipú?
Maipú is the third area in the catalogue, with 24 experiences. It works well for half a day: there are tastings, lunches and outings such as a vineyard ride in vintage cars.
