Mendoza for couples: plans among the vineyards
By DaniFounder and CEO of Welocal· 2 min read
Short answer
For a couple, three plans work best in Mendoza: a picnic in a winery garden, a sunset with wine and something to nibble, and an unhurried multi-course lunch. All three are in the catalogue and can be combined over two or three days.
What plans are there for two?
Some experiences are designed to be shared by two, such as the couples' picnic at Penedo Borges, outdoors, with wines in the winery gardens.
For the end of the day, Andeluna hosts guests in its gardens at sunset, facing the Cordón del Plata range, and Pascual Toso has a sunset option with wine and food.
What if we want something more special?
Sparkling wine is a good excuse: there are experiences devoted to the traditional method and others where you make your own sparkling wine.
There are also wine and chocolate workshops, and a glass on a terrace to round off the afternoon.
How do we plan a two-day getaway?
One day in Luján de Cuyo with a tasting and a picnic, and another in the Uco Valley with a multi-course lunch and sunset in the gardens.
If it is a special date, tell us on WhatsApp and we will see what can be added.

- Yes. There are sunset options in winery gardens and terraces, with wine and food.
- Which area is best for a romantic trip?
- It depends on the plan: Luján de Cuyo has more variety and is close to the city; the Uco Valley adds the scenery at the foot of the Andes.
