Salta for women 2027 is a 4-night group trip, from Thursday 15 to Monday 19 April 2027. It starts in the city of Salta and continues in Cafayate, at a boutique hotel among the vineyards. It includes private transfers, winery visits, food experiences, a guided excursion, a welcome kit and travel assistance. Gaby, from Welocal, travels with the group.
Where do we stay?
The first night is at Hotel Dazzler in Salta city, with a welcome dinner at La Vieja Estación, a traditional folk music venue.
The other three nights are at Altalaluna, Bodega Tukma’s boutique hotel on Route 40 in Tolombón, ten minutes from Cafayate, with garden, pool and spa.
What is the day-by-day plan?
Thu 15: arrival in Salta, welcome kit and folk dinner at La Vieja Estación.
Fri 16: picnic at Finca El Recreo, spa afternoon and sunset trek in the Sierra del Cajón with dinner under the stars.
Sat 17: pottery workshop at Cielo Antiguo, four-course lunch at Viñas en Flor and paired dinner at Altalaluna.
Sun 18: empanada cooking class at Bodega Piattelli and fireside dinner at Pausa, El Porvenir.
Mon 19: return home.
Why Salta in April?
April is autumn in the Calchaquí Valleys: mild, dry days, cool nights and vineyards changing colour after the harvest. A good time to walk outdoors and taste Cafayate’s high-altitude wines, especially Torrontés.
